Official Racing Harness Pic Collection!
Hi,
Okay ive searched through so many darn threads....but i thought it would be cool to have a picture thread of your Z interior with the racing harness you own.
be sure to identify what you can:
BRAND NAME: Takata, etc
COST: $
SECURE METHOD: 4pt or 6pt, etc:
LENGTH: long straps/short straps:
whatever else pertinent.
also what harness bar if any used:

Sparco seats, rails, sliders, harnesses, backing plates, and harness bar.
The only thing to keep in mind when you want to install harnesses is that you already have the mounting point for the bottom of one lap belt, but you will need to drill a hole and mount a backing plate in the transmission tunnel to secure the eye bolt for the other lap belt.

If I was to do it again I would have gone with 5-point to keep the buckle from pulling up when you tighten the shoulder straps down. This would require a steel piece welded onto the rail with an eye bolt.
I need to get a shot of how the belts are wrapped onto the harness bar as well. I did it opposite of MethodRN's so that the excess belts are on the bottom of the buckle instead of the top so they hang down onto the interior pieces instead of flapping around when the windows are down.
*Edit* Found some pics... If this method is incorrect, someone please let me know now.
