Default 2008 350z headlight question

I just bought an 08 touring z. My wife has a 08 Altima Coupe 3.5. She really likes the headlights on my z and wants me to buy her the same headlights and swap them into her Altima. Is this even possible? The lights appear to be similar sizes. The Z lights have sharper courners so the body of the car would have to be cut a little. I'm more worried about the electrical part of it. The correct lights responding at the correct time sort of thing. Thanks

I really haven't looked at the lights, but retro fitting within the headlamp would be a lot less costly and easier than cutting into the body.

LOL Too much work would be involved in cutting into an 08 Alti. Besides If you have to ask, you probably dont know how to do such things. Hence it would be too big a task

Easier solution would be to just trade in the Altima for a Z.

Not possible. Don't even bother. Perhaps there is a company similar to CinCity that does projector retrofitting for Altimas, but other than that -- no.

Edit: Speak of the devil. =P

^ yeah they have HID option for 3.5SE, but I think it's still reflector HIDs, no comparison to the nice cutoff line of projectors.

OP should check out www.hidplanet.com on how to retrofit projectors. I did that in my old car w/ TSX projectors and slightly modded cutoff line so it's blue, looks sick

I think he's talking about the actual headlights, not the HID.

Thanks everyone. I'll look into retrofitting.
