install was pretty easy, i dont have any pics but if u search there are plenty, im sure JUN has some too. all i had to do was take off the front bumper, and headlights, screw the ballast to the bottom of the headlights drill a hole into the back cover of the headlight to run the wires through and plug it in, was simple

No probable retrofit in a projector type headlamp! Projector pattern directs light to the front causing no glare. This is an issue in open headlamps as in the Z hi-beam. Other point is HID quality, cheaper factories dont "align" (position) the bubble (center) of the bulb with the oem bulb, resulting in low light. Also dont pay much attention to exotic website and brand names, few factories sell all kit with different brands. Just those people put fancy boxes (some looks like jewel-boxes) with exotic cars and bike on it; and remember the box is for trash it...... Warranty is your best guide before any purchase. that doesn't sound too simple since you have to remove front bumper, screw the ballast to the headlights, and drill a hole.

I think Ace is looking for a direct plug-n-play deal..

Yea I'd like for the installation to be as simple as possible. Sam2944 how simple is your installation?

Apexi350z I saw your install pics and lemme say...very NICE!
but the kit you got from DDM needed some wire splicing right? Would it be harder for me since I have a base version?

Ace, just remove the tire, the 4 clips that hold the liner and 2 screws below the bumper corner and Bingo!.....you get acces to the entire headlamp. From there you can change oem HID bulbs, add hi beam entire kit, replace parking light and turn signal for Leds. Very easy, I got everything you need if you want at www.sagahid.com Any other question you may send a pm. Thanks

You have to connect the factory power wires somehow (one black, one red). I don't know if there's a plug for it, but I just cut the plugs with some wires left over, incase I have to rewire them back to sell the car. Not sure if sam2944 sells the direct plug-in for you. You can check with him.

Once you cut the wires, you will have a RED & BLACK wire, and use those two to power the aftermarket HID kit.

** This is on my 03 Z with factory OEM HID ballast. Not sure if it's the same with Base non-HID wiring **

As I've said, I have a 2005 BASE 350z. I do NOT have OEM HID bulbs. So is your kit still plug and play (i.e. NO WIRE SPLICING OR CUTTING) for my car??
