Damn LED flashing rate
I did a search but couldn't find any relative articles.
I am still searching but wanted to post this so I can multitask
Is there a flasher or some other device that will adjust my blink rate to normal after putting LED's in?
Also, if I wire a resistor, does it go across from hot to common? How would it be wired in?
Can I just use the flasher from an 06-08 that came with LED's?
One last thing, how the heck do I access the rear signal bulbs!

yes you need a resistor, check out these threads....

for the LED front blinkers you have to add a resistor in parallel with the light to get the blinker rate down. I can't remember the value of the resistor tho.... Just make sure it's a high wattage resistor...
@ Nothix
Thanks, I'm checking those threads now...
@ SilverZ
I was looking for information a bit more specific...I know it needs a resistor but the rating for that resistor and how it is wired in eludes me.

Just had a look at the ones I used... The resistors need to be around 6 ohms and need to be rated at around 6 watts or more. These are the ones I used when I did mine...
I just soldered the resistors on to the wires that are in the headlight harness and mounted the resistors on to the body of the car. The body would act like a heatsink for the resistors...

Sold my Z but stopped over here just to see what's new. Replaced it with MX-5 and just happened to install 18 diode F&R turn signal bulbs. I too do not like the fast blink or installing load resistors so I reversed engineered the flasher so they blink about 70 times a second. If someone wants to donate a flasher I will try to reverse engineer it for you.

Zenica, just install one resistor per led, can go to my website www.sagahid.com It comes with splice taps so you dont have to cut or solder any wire, entirely plug & play. My Z has leds all arouund with them without any problem, this prevent hyperflash. To change rear bulbs just remove the read lamps, only 3 srews to remove them, below you will see the turn and back bulbs. If need something else just pm me.
