Default Replacing rear / front emblems

Has anyone replaced the front and rear emblems on a Z?

I am interested in replacing the "NISSAN" logo with a simpler "Z" in a circle logo.

Is there a Z logo badge that is the correct size for those spots? Where can I get them?

Anyone got a picture of this already done?

Thanks in advance.

They have them at courtesyparts.com. You can buy them in a pair. If you only want to use one, I will buy the second from you, as I am looking to buy just one as well. Thanks.

Are there any tricks to getting the old one off? (Like holes under the emblems?)

Also, will the new ones at courtesy completely cover the same area (in case the paint is damaged during removal?)

Just curious.

I won't be getting em too soon since my Z isn't due to October, but I already have about $400 of accessories in my basement or on order. 8*) (Quick Shifter, seatback organizer, front plate relocation bracket, etc.)

I have replaced the front Nissan emblem with the Z emblem from courtsey. Under the front emblem there are 3 pronges that will help you align the Z emblem. To remove the current Nissan badge you can use a hair dryer using (warm air to hot air) to remove the emblem. You are heating up the adhesive under the bottem of the Nissan emblem. And it will allow you to remove it.
Once you remove it you need to clean the area with adhesive remover to make sure it is clean before puting on the new Z emblem.

The rear emblem I havent done. I am still trying to determine if there are 3 pronges under the emblem that will allow you to align it. Some say there is. Some say there isnt and you have to manually center it.

from pics Ive seen there are 2 holes under the rear. this leads me to believe that you cant simply buy a pair and split them, unless one wants them on front and one on rear.

they are not interchangable.

Here's a picture of the rear deck with emblem removed. BTW the scratches buffed out fine. I removed the "350z" badges as well and just put a "Z" back there (got it from the door "sill" panel).
