Question Replacement Headlights for my 2003?

I need to replace my headlights on my 2003, what do you recommend?

Also, I am referring to the whole thing, not just the bulbs.

Thanks,

Alpine

That's why I am looking for some input and feedback on what others have considered and/or done themselves!

I need to replace the entire headlight first before I can look into a HID conversion kit.

Thanks for the info, I'll follow up after I get the first problem solved.

I think you would be happier with an upgrade to some new 06+ up headlights. Will definitely cost more but well worth it.

Any suggestion as to how to go about that and what the costs are?

Sorry for resurrecting this old thread, and I am sorry to admit I still have this need and there will more than likely be a lot more of this to come with my return to my350z.com!

Where are we these days with lights and don't forget this is for my 2003!

As always thanks for any and all help/suggestions/guidance in advance!

$1200 for some nice, brand new 06+ headlights. Well worth the money. Visibility is amazing compared to the old ones.

So the pricing hasn't changed on this, eh? I figured by now there would be some amazing way to get the best for less...

There was a time where I would never consider alternatives to the 'real deal' but with different priorities these days, home, business, family, I need to carefully weigh these things....

So are there any alternatives?

Actually, the price has gone up since I ordered them a year ago.

Why do you need to replace your headlights? Could you post some pics of them?

Sorry, it was in the history elswhere.... I had 'film' on them for over 2 years, no problems, and then one day these micro cracks showed up in them, and then they started having problems as it appears moisture got into them....

Good point, thanks for the reminder... it's been a while since thinking in those terms... Used to do that all the time for my '67 442 Olds & 68 & 69 Charger....

Look into the classified section for some used ones. If money is not a problem, i would definitely get the newer model 06-08 headlight. The older model for 03-05 is relatively cheap now. You didn't indicate whether your original headlights are HID or not.
