Wing/spoiler in mastergrade CF hatch?
does anybody have a wing on their CH hatch? witch ?
i was thinking of the INGS+1 Z power wing. but im not sure if the hatch can take it? since the carbon is very very thin on that hatch.
on mastergrades demo car there is a ving but i havent recieved a answer about if it only for show or what.
this is the hatch
and here with the wing i was thinking of
here it doesent even seems to be installed
not exacly the same wing but more or less
and i im going to use the low mount if that mathers.

Thats not an MG hatch. Mastergrade never had a spoiler on their widebody Z with the MG hatch. The hatch came out after the Import Tuner shoot. However, if you want touse a wing I would suggest one with a base just like the one on the Mastergrade widebody demo. Notice how close the base legs are, with your proposed base it looks to be too wide.
Hope that helps !

2 aluminum strips under the hatch, drill through the hatch, and secure the spoiler to the aluminum. This gives the spoiler something rigid to mount to, vs the hatch itself

should the strips go vertikal lite from bolt to bolt on the same "foot" or from the left foot to the right.. one for the upper and one for the lower?

I can't see how titanium will be any better - it won't even be significantly lighter considering that the strips don't need to be that big. Not to mention, drilling through it is not easy

the MG hatch will have problems with the ings side mounts, that needs a relatively flat surface, on or near the angle of where the stock hatch ends curve down.
the MG hatch curves UP with the built in lip spoiler-
i'd probably go ahead and trade the MG hatch for a oem-style CF hatch if u really want a wing on a CF hatch.. otherwise, you're going to have to do a mount much more forward along the hatch than what you'd really like-.. it'll still work. just wont look as good-
you can always go custom end brackets and make someting that will go over the MG rear lip.. any good machine shop can cut/weld aluminum into integrated shapes.. just make sure it had enough surface area for mounting, as to distribute the down force along the hatch, and not just at two or three points where the bolts are attached to...
good luck!
