so this happened to me like 3 times already....

i got to open my door with the key fob and and my driverside door lock wont unlock fully. when i put the key into the hole and turn to open it wont go all the way but it locks normally. when i roll down windows and try to open lock from inside its hard to push the lock open.

long story short, i got it open by standing in the rain turning key left and right for like 3 minutes or so until i guess it budged.

my question is as anyone ever experienced this?

i think its due to the fact that i might of hit the open button on the key fob and opened door handle at same time, cuz i caught myself doing that the second time

any help can be useful

i am so glad this has happened to someone else! yes i hate it, it has happened to me a couple of times as well. i also believe that its when you push the unlock button on the key fob and you try to open the door. Oh well, i just avoid opening it at the same time.

 

haha oh man i thought i was the only one. its either both at same time or open-close with key fob really really quick...cuz i believe ive done that once...and it was in the rain. its kinda embarrassing sometimes...but fck it...haha still my baby

 

**** happpen to me too! I found out that it was my door handle, waste my money on buying a actuator lock when i did not need it.

 

so it happened to me again? this time, i guess maybe due to the cold weather, i get into my car normally, but when i go to close the door, it doesnt lock on the hindge and just bounces back. so i try to close it a couple times and nuttin, so i turn the lock on the door handle into lock position and close to door fine, but then i was stuck inside and wouldnt let me out i had to climb out through passenger side door, and tried opening the door with the key like 15 minutes and yet nothing?

does anyone have an answer to this very annoying problem...haha?
its happened many occations, warm days, hot days, cold days, and even freezing.

My driver door lock stuck once, but a quick relock then unloack and it was good. When in doubt, just add lube.

 

yeah i hope thats the problem. its just weird how it happens randomly. i gota open the door somehow and lube everything up and hopefully it will work from now on.

 

Same here all I did was relock with fob then hit unlock on fob and it was fine. Havnt been locked in like the other guy, hope that dont happen anytime soon.
