Luxeon LED pictures...
Hi! I finally got out of laziness and started making LED bulbs featuring Luxeon LEDs. Some of you are familiar with my dome light Luxeon LED mod. I'll post pictures again. It turns out they've improve their manufacturing processes, and the LEDs are much whiter than before. I'll post the dome light for those who never seen it.
So total mods done:
-Dome light (year ago)
-Trunk light
-Parking light
-Front turn signals
Since the signal bulbs use so little current (even at 100mA), the car still thinks a bulb is burnt, so it goes into hyper flash mode. It looks cool for LEDs, but for my rear turn signals it's crap. I'll have the rear Luxeon bulbs made, but I'll do the install later.
Here's the Luxeon Amber Side Emitting LED for my turn signal mod:

These are modded 194 LED bulbs. I took out the original jumbo white LED, and replaced it with this Luxeon. The resistor is mounted externally, and will be hidden behind the headlamp housing.

This is my front LED turn signal. It uses 4 super bright amber LEDs along with a single amber Luxeon side-emitting LED. I painted it silver to give it a "clear" look.

Here's the dome light mod I did a year ago when Luxeon was still new. The color rendering of the LEDs weren't as good at the time, but the light is still clean. It doesn't look good on camera though. I'm happy to say these lights are still working.

looks nice, if you put a resistor equal to the stock bulb in parralel with the LED turn signal bulb, it wont notice its missing.
that should solve your problem
they sell them too, as its a fairly nice sized resistor, they sell it all nicely packaged, bout 5$ a peice. one should do it tho, as they dont go into hyper flash when one is burned out, so I dont see why youd need 2 resistors for both bulbs.
hope that helps.

Yea... i should do that, but I'm pretty lazy. Also, I don't like splicing wires.
There's more I could've done like add a zener diode, but I'm going to see how long these bulbs will last.
The hyper flash is pretty neat for LED signals, but they're horrible for incandescent lights. I hope to change the rear signals soon.
I'd like to implement an amber and white Luxeon for each clear reflector, but I'm slightly uneasy about splicing any wires.
