Default Troubles with Intense Power

Well this is about a lot of money but rather the principle for customer service. So lets rewind back to January 1. I decided to start buying thing for my turbo project, starting with a triple pillar pod. I ordered the Intense pod since it came willow and I have the willow interior, only one I know that did this. Order it get a confirmation and thing nothing of it for 2 weeks. Still hadn't shipped so i sent them an E-mail to them asking if it was on backorder or something and if I could get an expected ship date. No response. Come on here and send a message to them, username "intensesales" I think. It was the one with the most recent activity. that was about a week ago and still no response on anything and still not shipped. It listed they have 4 in the clearance section which to me says in stock but that might just be me. I'm not so much pissed about not getting my pod yet, as I am disappointed with their customer service.

If someone can chime in if they are having issues or at some show or something that would close business for awhile that's fine. I don't know if I would go back there again.

I have yet to buy from them but thanks for the heads up. Maybe this will get them to check there emails and PMs more often. Sure most will just defend the vender here cus you did not call or bug them but if you do then your a pest. I personally think they should ALL send a email/pm with your order number + ETA on shippment. But thats just me, I work for a large broker dealer and when our clients buy a stock or mutual fund you better bet your @$$ they get a confirmation number and then another mailed to them before or at the settlement date. So I understand the customers need for communication and follow through.

Agreed that it would be nice to get better customer service through email and PM, but I agree that you haven't done enough to warrant a negative post about them.

I wanted some information from one of our sponsors so I sent them a PM on here and didn't hear anything from them after 3 days. So I called them up and the guy took at least 15 minutes answering questions and researching for me. I made my purchase immediately after talking to him and received it in about 2-3 days.

You said you got a confirmation from them. But you didn't say if you had been charged or not. Are you out any money at this point?

Call them. It would have been alot quicker then PMing and waiting a week or writing this thread and waiting for their response. Telephone is the main source of communication for all shops.

Not quite that easy!!!!!!
When Darren was there, customer service was top notch. Awesome guy.
However, when he went out with his medical issue, the place really went to hell IMHO. No one answered the phone and you could leave messages til you were blue in the face - no one ever called back.
Hopefully Darren is back and has gotten everything there back on track again.

Darren has been back. Yes, there were some times when communication dipped, but with Darren having surgery; Intense moving into a new facility, and a few other minor delays. These things can be expected.

I've NEVER known Intense to stiff anyone. As you can see from some of the posts in this thread they have a pretty good reputation.

OP, call Intense on Monday.... using a telephone, and get an answer. Try not to call when they are at lunch though. Counterproductive if you ask me.

Phone is something I don't like doing, I don't know why, but that's just me. I will call monday and see what's up. E-mail and online is how I do most everything and I've never really had any problem before.

Just so no-one misunderstands, they NEVER stiffed me. I just think they really missed Darren while he was out.
Very glad to hear he is back and hopefully fully recovered

OP,

Hello. I just PM'd you to request the background details regarding your transaction. As stated in the PM, while I have yet to acquire those specific details, please accept my apologies for the seemingly poor communications and delivery delay. We do take care of our customers; I don't think that's even debatable. Our communications, whether via PM, email, or phone are high priority to us and while we give painstaking attention to them, there are occasions where our humanity shows and we fail. That being said, (and not taking away from your attempt to contact us, and our failure to reciprocate) this thread would not exist if the last form of communications (phone call) would have been attempted -- and/or the item would have been shipped/received! So, again, I've PM'd you now, and would like (as much as possible on a Sunday) to get to the bottom of this and remedy the issue.

Darren(thanks those who mentioned my good service, especially surrounding my surgery)

I apologize if it sounded like I was accusing you of being "stiffed", I never meant to imply that.
