I'm really excited to know if this would work...

I purposely wrapped over the cubby button.

Wrapped my a-pillars and door control parts as well. Will get pictures tomorrow if people want.

Note: Do NOT try to wrap the textured parts of your door with a single piece. It won't stretch and conform neatly to the curves. I felt like being the guineapig for this and it failed. Spent an hour or so scrubbing the hell out of my door panel to get all the glue off. Wasted a bunch of fabric.

Take your time, and have an x-acto knife or something similar to help tuck in the fabric around the edges. Also, leave an extra 1/2" or so around the edges.

What I did:
Interior A-pillars
Speedo cover
both door armrest
strutbar
silver accent part of the center shift console thingy...
KingBaby,

Does the silver part of the center shift console thingy separates from center shift console thingy or you just trimmed the fabric with a knife where they meet. Thanks.

It comes apart.

If you plan on trying this project, get a hold of a very sharp razor blade. You'll need it.

LOL how is that rice?? ALL i gotta say is wow OP and some of you guys did an awesome job. It looks like the car came from factory with the CF in the pics. You guys got a lot of patience to do that kinda work with such precision, i would probably make a mess out of it lol.

Rated 10/10 ftw win, I wish u guys were close to me so I could beg u to rewrap my cf interior.

UPDATE:

i tried yourautotrim.com and the gentlemen was kind enough to call me to verify the order and informed me that this material was much thicker than what you guys have been using to wrap the interior with.

I have so say that I'm in shock and happy to say that we live in a world that still has a handful of good people, anyone else would have just shipped it to me and not gave a crap if it was what i needed or not. On a side note he says he is working super diligently to find the source of the other fabric so he can start selling it. i'm still in aw about how cool the guy was that i spoke to.

back to the situation at hand . . . .

I WANT SOME OF THIS F'ING FABRIC !! !! ! someone PM me something about where i can find some of this. im looking to buy 10 yards+ if its the right kind.
