DIY LED reverse lights?

Default DIY LED reverse lights?

hey, i just received a set of LED reverse lights and am curious as to how to replace them. i know its probably the easiest thing to do but i dont know where to go from anybody know?

what year model? I got a 2008 and it is easiest if you remove the tail lights. Just 3 screws on top holding then you pop it out, you can easily reach the backup and turn lights from there. I replaced both of mine with LEDs from VLED.

yea but make sure you have a pointy tool to pull out the little pop rivets. Also if its an older z like mine 2003 the lights sit in there pretty good. Once the screws and rivets are out you have to like lift up and pull towards you. The light will start to come your way but I get real nervous doing these things. The thing is that once those are out you can pull pretty good cause there isn't really anything to break off.

my bulbs fell inside of the housing both times wheen i did the front and back ones.. now their just sittig in the lights moving around everytime i drive haha

i also have an 08 Z..... are you talking about the 3 screws going up the taillights that you see when you open the trunk?

Yes, remove those three screws, pull out the taillight and you can reach behind the rear bumper and remove the reverse and signal lights.
