Need help with cf front lip
I recently purchased a seibon cf cw style front lip. However I'm having trouble putting it on because it's not clearing the mouth of the bumper. Does anyone have any ideas, info or a diy on how to install this lip???
post some pics of what you mean. Im having a hard time picturing it in my head. When I installed mine, you have to slightly bend the bumper a bit to get the lip's corners to get onto the bumper. Do it carefully or else you might crack the CF.

+1. I had the same problem with a Veilside v1 lip. I fought and fought. Flexed the bumper. Did everything I could think of. Last thing I tried was sliding up from the bottom and it slid on simply. Did have a little scratching of the bumper though.
Definately take the bumper off of the car.
Heres a the idea of what i did. Lets say the ubmper looks like this ( before you flex it. I had to bend it to something like this: < Though obviously it doesnt get sharp or pointy...otherwise you just broke your bumper. By bending it like that, I was able to get the edges of the bumper on and everything else just fell into place. Beware of scraping your paint on the edges of the lip though. You should also be aware that the grille in the middle is resistant to flex cause it is made out of a harder plastic...you dont want to crack that either.
It will be MUCH easier to do this with help from a friend.
