Either bulb is generally about $35 each from an aftermarket retailer now a days however.

Yea, that's all I was trying to say and i was a little confused myself lol
I think the OP wants OEM bulbs/higher quality bulbs like the Philips. And I am not sure but have a good hunch the 5000k Philips bulbs are much cheaper than the 6000k.

OEM ones should be 4300K. Just get the Philips 85126 (D2R) on ebay from a reputable seller. They go for for ~30-40 bucks. Search 'Philips D2R 4300K'. I'm wary of choosing other brands because they may be of lower quality and blow out even faster or color not the same. I've seen some crappy bulbs and kits in the past w/ HID kits. One thing to keep in mind is that new bulb's output may be yellower and brighter compared to your old bulb because they have a tendency to turn whiter/bluer and dimmer over time as they age with use.

IMO 6000K looks rice w/ noticeably blue tint and diminished lumen output. Philips Ultinons (6000K) costs quite a lot (~100+ each?) so I'd stay away from those.

Types of Philips HID bulbs:
For 2003-2005:
85126 (D2R 4300K OEM and what the OP needs)
85126CM (D2R colormatched 4800K - to match used bulb, bluer but dimmer)

For 2006+:
85122+ (D2S 4100K - slightly yellower output, brightest and reduced color shift. a lot are falsely sold as 5000Ks, IMO best ones for practicality)
85122 (D2S 4300K OEM)
85122CM (D2S colormatched 4800K - to match used set, bluer but dimmer)

And the ricer bulbs Philips Ultinon (6000K) D2S and D2R

I've only seen D2Cs in aftermarket HID kits. If it's a D2C aftermarket Philips bulb, I'd stay away because it'd be rebased (bottom replaced). And putting D2S in D2R is not recommended because of the glare produced to oncoming traffic (just like how ricers put HID kits in their halogen reflector housings)
