racing seat help!!!
thinking about getting these Megan seats. I have looked at the Corbeau CR1 and i think these look better. The inside of the car is black and the outside is silverstone color. I also want to get racing seatbelts. would blue or black be better, what color belts? what do you guys think?

Sparco Fighter Seats - cheap but they also have the same look as the first ones. there arent track approved for some tracks tho. but cheap!
Bride Gias - more function better seat then the fighter. a bit bigger price tho
OR
the Sparco Torino 2 - probally the best matched suit for what ur looking for. again not the cheapest but look the closest to what u want
PS: the pictures are in order as i listed them

either black seats and teal belts. remember that color matching isnt always a must as long as the color go good with eachother. EX-picture 1-3
example red and green together sounds gross at first but if u do it right is look amazing.
meaning just cus ur engine is blue doesnt mean ur belts have to 2
or u can always do blue seats?!? 4 pic.and throw contrast in with the belts being teal or red.

with all this said if your doing a blue theme.
1)try black seats with blue belts.
2)blue seats with teal or black belts
remember tho that just cus one thing is a certain color doesnt mean that everything has to be that color. use the small things in your as contrast. this always works.
Example: black car, bronze rims, red/teal lugs. the red/teal lugs being the contrast. bring everything to life.
think of it like art

as far as LOOKS are concerned... then that is quite subjective..
however you should consider build quality, reputation, and most important of all, Safety when choosing an aftermarket seat.
although most adjustable seats won't come with racing certification that some non-adjustable buckets will, some are approved/built to some level of standard, that certify that some safety/crash worthiness has been accessed...
also, cloth/leather material, butt spring build quality and longevity come into play, as well as mounting bracket compatability.
you usually get what you pay for, and when seats are in question, i'd rather spend a little more with a company that has been 'doing seats' for a while, rather than a company that is trying to full fill the 'cheaper price point' market.
companies such as Sparco and Recaro have many adjustable/reclinable seats that are TUV certified.. Cobra has been certified to another european standard called ECE.
I'd question if Megan racing went to the trouble to certify their seats to any standard...
if you are on a limited budget, imho, i'd save up and get one good one, than a pair of two lesser-safe seats..

i want to paint the calipers a different color then black since the rims are black and I don't want the calipers to get lost behind the rims. Since I'm going to paint the center console silverstone like the outside I'll just get the black microsuede seats with the blue seat belts and blue pads.
