VeilSide V2 Drag Wing Install Help!
I am having an issue, well my body shop is which is making it my issue! lol. I have purchased an Authentic VeilSide v2 Drag Wing and we are having fitment issues. My body guy can't seem to mount it and i went there and he showed me the problem. the problem is there are gaps everywhere. Check out the pics below. I previously had the stock spoiler on trunk which was removed.
Anyone with or had this wing have this problem? Are we missing something here? This is really weird!
Any idea?
Thanks,
Vinny

This is how the fitment is period? No helping it? I wonder if people are driving around with these gaps on the tail of the trunk with this wing. That would just be horrible.

It doesn't look like it's slid forward enough. there will prob be minor gaps. Welcome to fitting aftermarket bodykits my friend. Some are better than others. Really kinda depends on the age of the molds actually to a certain extent.

Hw slid the wing as far forward as it could go. The only thing I could think of is after removing the stock spoiler the trunk tail has a small hump but all Z's have this hump.
Think shaving the wing to fit the hump might work?
BTW, those edges you see are THICK walled!

No see they DEFINATLY can fix it but since its authentic they called me to let me know. I went down there and seen it for myself, I thought to myself, this is an authentic wing, it should just bolt and go. VeilSide blows if thats the way it is. Whats the point of buying authentic then.
What I am looking for is anyone with this wing installed on their car. Looking to see if they had the same problem and what was needed.

Hmmmmm
Do you have a coupe or roadster?
It's possible that you got the wrong wing.
If you want to PM me, we can work it out. A defective wing is not your problem.
I have never heard of the VeilSide wings not fitting properly.
