Has anyone used this paint brand on their headlights or anywhere else? Im thinking of purchasing some from this website:

Is this a reliable paint brand? I heard its better than krylon.

 

Also, its 400ml. Should I buy two or one? I don't know how many cans I need to cover the headlights, please let me know.

 

Montana is specifically made for graffiti artist (like me )..but also can be used for lots of other stuff.....
They are very good quality and offer tons of awesome colors..
are they better then krylon? yes.... and no..it all depends they both cant be compared and both have different spray pressure..plus krylon changed their cans and added diff tips/caps so they are no good for aerosol art no more since you cant change the caps/tip (basically a artist tolls) meaning an artist that needs a different size in the way it sprays cant do it....all comes down what you like to use imo(artist pov).graffiti artist look for paint that will dry quick and that will over lap other colors easily.

krylon is great paint though..and for what you need it for it will work.
i used krylon plastic fusion to do my black housing..i recomend it if your gona do your head lights,plus it comes with a nice fan tip/cap that you can be turned 360deg...
And yes 400ml will do the job if your gonna go with montana so basically 1 spray can of your choice (just dont go cheap)will do your lights trust me its more then enough..
+ krylon can be picked up at wal-mart.. best price
and montana would have to be ordered online or picked up at a graff shop if you know of any (they are kinda rare).

Thanks a lot. Ive tried almost every store except walmart. Maybe they have matte black krylon there. But I already ordered a can and adhesive spray from montana. Hopefully it turns out ok, again thanks for the info.

Rust-Oleum, also a good paint brand slightly more expansive then krylon though.

 

my friend bought them and used them to paint audi TT headlight housing!
they custom match to the color of the car (silver), matched perfectly. It matched 99.9% to the body color.

 

i c. I was never able to find paint brands or stores that carried matte black, so I just ordered from montana.

 

well i have never seen exactly the paint say matte..but i have bought lots of flats and ultraflat and satin paint before at walmart.

 

Yea I know. I've searched extensively and only montana had paint that was matte. I heard satin was similar to matte, but never quite understood the difference so was hesitant to buy satin paint from krylon.

 

yeah im not sure if theirs a difference?? dont think their is....
