gotta have a peice to make a mold from. cant make amber into clear, but you can make amber into a mold then pour clear into the mold... but gotta have the set of amber first.

by the way I already have the mold material and the clear resin, just need the amber peice, anyone have an old headlight they wanna sell me????

I dont want to take my own light apart, and as you said their 700$ for a new set, and even so if it doesnt work, theres no gaurentee the original amber strip will be ok to put back in.

this looks like a great project to do. the Blackhousing and Clear strip looks awsome. I would definately try this if I had a spare set of headlights.
