im going to omaha to pick up a 2004 silverstone touring on saturday. he has the tailights blacked out. Im not a big fan of the blacked out lights, so can you peel it off, or how does that go? any help would be greatly appreciated

 

Depends on how he blacked out the tail lights. Either they're painted or they have a vinyl that was put on them to make them black.

 

If they were painted just buy some bright red paint & you will be golden.

 

Depends on the method. Get the car. We will figure it out.

 

i also need some help! Im gettin my tail lights blacked out but i dont wanna do it myself.didi it with my old car and it came out bubbly..took 2 long anyway..but i was thinking of taking it to a tint shop? Will that work and if so what %..tahnks

 

If they are painted and its not a film let me know. I have an extra set of stockers laying around...I'll trade for the tinted ones if you want.

 

Do this yourself, this is a easy 2 hour job, most of this time is just letting the paint dry before applying more coats to darken the color. Just pull the lights out and clean them real good with soap & water & hand to dry, I used 1 can of nightshades paint approx $10.99 can. Paint slowly, you can always add more lite coats to the lights. DO a google search for nightshades paint by VHT.
