How much did it cost to have your window motor reflashed
Drivers side was replaced at Nissan and it cost me about $450. The passenger side is now doing the auto up/roll down thing. The previous owner told me he had the passenger side reflashed once and it cost him around $90, but Nissan is saying it will be more. Just wanted an idea as to what its costing everyone else that doesn't have a warranty. Thanks

reflashed or reset? there's a reset button under the door panel.
so is it going back down once you try to roll it up? could be a window regulator sticking. Mine was bad and catching so the window wouldn't roll up properly.

Hmm...I don't know now. The guy who sold me the car said he had it "reflashed", but he may have misspoke. The window is rolling down about 3" when I use the auto up on the switch or if I slam the door. Am I calling it the wrong thing?

Yeah, I wish I would have...it happened right after I got the car and I didn't know about these forums yet. The window got stuck down, I don't have a garage, and they were calling for rain the next day.
I looked into the DIY pages and I saw the part about the reset button. Gonna give it a shot this weekend. Thanks for the help

I had this problem a ways back. Bought a new motor for like 80 bucks from autozone and replaced the motor... the problem was gone and has stayed gone.
The DIY guide has some good tips also, like make sure to tape the window when pulling everything apart, otherwise down is goes.

should have gone ahead and gotten it, he won't be able to control the power and he'll probably end up rolling his arm up in it
