Default Opening 06+ taillights

Hi, i bought a pair of 06+ taillights and the right one has some water in it (which caused some rust on the medal inside). I want to open it but dont know how. Someone told me its harder than opening the headlights...

any help is appreciated!

I don't recommend the dremel route. I did it with a heat gun. If you go that route, whatever you do, DO NOT apply heat through the lens part, do it only from the back side of it, and always keep it moving, don't apply heat to one part for too long unless you want a melted piece of crap that you won't be able to use again.

Prone, thanks for the tip. also, did you reassemble it with the heat gun too? or did u have to use glue(epoxy)?
