Default What is this antenna . . .

I cover my car overnight ('08 base), and the stock antenna makes it difficult to get the cover on easily. Something shorter would be nice. So, what's this antenna, and where can I get one?

Thanks in advance,

Dean

It looks like an Acura/Honda antenna.

May I suggest an Agency Power antenna from vividracing.com? They have a few kinds & colors.

This is what mine looks like:

Quality is OEM. My MDX was around $6 (got a buddy who works at Acura of Portland) It's deff a nice addition/substitution for the long oem piece...

Try a Perrin Antenna either 2" or 4 " http://www.jscspeed.com/evo/body/perrin_antenna.htm (I think you can get in silver too).

another option that fits better than the S2K is a Dodge Antenna

I have a Dodge avenger antenna on my '07 Z .. I work at a Dodge dealer and got mine for $3 and some change .. think it was like 5 bucks normally

mine has the "spirals" on it .. but there are smooth ones on the sebring convertibles and some other new dodge cars / suv's

Thats cool and looks good...but I can't justify spending $25 on an antenna when there are the Dodge and Honda ones for $5...

If you want to go cheap go home. That should always be a moto for mods imo. Do it right the first time. Seems like you will need to "know" someone at the dealership to get that type of deal. I got the S2K for 20.00 shipped from EBAY. Genuine part of honda, in the bag.

lol at go cheap or go home comment when talking about an antenna...........

The dodge avenger and Acura antenna's are the cheap $5-7 dollar ones from the dealers, depending on dealer pricing.

The Honda S2000 antenna is a bit more. like most said 20-25, either online or dealer.

There are many threads on this subject, so it looks like the OP got his answer, any further, search around.
