Rain Gaurds for Seibon TSII hood
I have recently acquired a Seibon TSII hood. Im very excited but a little worried about rain. I know a lot of people say that they dont ahve any problems but im not buying it.
A) do they make rain covers? Ive looked on the site and didnt see any
B) Do I need them?
C) Is a DIY in order and if so any ideas?

Alright brotha, negative on the rain guards....
But damn what a sick looking hood this is. Now i got a problem with clearing my Cusco strut bar....***. Thats one of the lowest pro strut bars out there, and it isnt clearing on just one side.
Figure ill just fab some spacers from the MD 5/16 ones i have on there and make them MMs shorter to match other side.

I just went to home depot and got some thinner spacers. Just bring one of the screws with you to make sure the whole is about right. I think I only needed one. Are you noticing any rubbing by the oil add? The plastic engine cover seems to be rubbing. Its just barely rubbing my Cusco. I thing my 5/16 spacer is making things difficult.

My TS is rubbing on the passenger side of my Cusco bar. I also went to Lowes and bought some 12mm washers but even with 1 washer per bolt, or NO washers per bolt, the hood is still hitting the bar at that spot.
Im not seeing any rubbing on my engine cover, though, and yes, my MD 5/16 is making my situation difficult as well.
Now, my Cusco is as low as it can go and is sitting directly on my Plenum, which i think is not going to work.
Im thinking the only solution here is to either get rid of the bar totally or shave the FRP underside supports on the hood to accomidate...
You got any ideas?? Let me know if/how you work this out.
