Angry Front Bumper Question........

What's up people? I have a 2005 Pepsi Blue Z and was looking for a new front bumper. Well, I found one.....but I don't know what it's called? The person that's selling it is some chic that dumped her man, and now she's selling his stuff! She doesn't have a clue what she's selling, but at the same time I don't know the model/part number of this bumper so I could see if it'll fit on my ride? What's the name of this bumper? Who makes it? What's the model number? Does anyone out there know of this bumper?

No I actually painted it Pepsi Blue, it used to be black...Custom color I had done at my friends paint shop, not your normal Daytona Blue. And thanks for making assumptions =)

I don't know what else she was selling.....

Thanks for the welcome and help with this bumper.

Man, be careful with the purchase for more than the p'd-off ex... this bumper is beautiful, strong, and has OEM fit, but generally comes with a hefty list of supporting hardware to purchase from Nissan. And Nissan is no joke when it comes to overpricing the supporting hardware. I think the lower lip connection point (about half the size of an after market lip) costs $400-$500. Tack that on to the cost of the main bumper and other hardware to mount it and it gets real expensive real quick.

Just let him buy the bumper first then figure that out. That seems to be the recurring theme around here anyway.

Zazz93: Thanks for the info. What other supporting hardware will I need to purchase? And will my original Energy Absorbers & Reinforcement Beams fit on this bumper?

I just found out a part number from that chic from the website she purchased the bumper for her Ex, and it says it fits 06-08 http://www.bumpersplus.com/detail.php?OemNum=FBM221A45H
I guess it won't fit on my 05.....?

Go find "Z1 Performance" in the Marketplace on this forum and pm him for a quote on the V3 bumper kit. They sell everything (hardware/diffuser/06-08 wheel well liners) needed for this bumper in one large kit. Not sure if they sell the kit seperate from the bumper, but i wouldnt see why not.

...Its pricey dude, there are alot of parts involved.

This is the Nismo V3 and I have the same bumper on my 05. You do not need the hardware but it helps if your not fab. savey. Look at my posts and you will see alot on this bumper. I bought mine for 200$ "with slight dmg" and got it repaired and painted for 300$ so total cost with paint was 500$. My local dealer quoted me $650+ for just the diffuser and because the vendors here do not support the kit they refuse to replicate the diffuser as they lack vision. I would get it but thats why I have it.

Odd yet no vendor seems to think there is a demand for the diffuser.
