Default Your thoughts on Vinyll Designs?

My cars not a daily driver..I drive it maybe once a week at most...so that being said I saw the Venaci 370z with the design and I thought it looked kinda cool in an artistic kind of way/not to dragon ballzish. Opinions on gettin something like that design put on my car? Can anyone photoshop it onto my car?

Here's what it looks like now...

https://my350z.com/forum/members/the...s-my-350z.html

How do these things work anyway- Is it just one big sticker type thing that can be removed without screwing the paint underneath it?

Idk, I think it looks appropriate at car shows, but not in garages. I would never own a car with a drastic design like that because I like the clean look and think it would look ricey on the street.

black designs on the yellow would look sick if you ask me... as long as its done right.

cant tell you nothing about the vinyl stickers, not a paint expert so i dunno how that goes.

EDIT: gotta agree what adam said, its more for car shows instead of the streets

100% show car only type deal. If your car wasnt super modded i would laugh and say "put that vinyl money towards more important mods."

Stickers, if any, should be the last thing you do to your car.

Vinyl allows you to put just about any graphics on the car. Be adventurous. No need to ask my approval. Do it.

Just curious why you dont like the wing?...I guess you have never been in the SBC thread and seen the ridiculous park bench voltex atrocities people are putting on their stock looking z's you would be complimenting mine for being so low profile.

Nah I dont want the decals, just the picture. I guess maybe some cause it has a tree and a girl with a sword in it makes it gay?...hmm...it would be ricey if this was a daily driver but this car barely gets out more than one saturday night a week, I was thinkin maybe doing it for a few months and then taking it off anyway as long as the paint underneath wouldn't be damaged.

I think some of you might be scared your girlfriends are gonna see it on the road and leave you...already happens enough as it is when i be rollin'... OR MAYBE I"LL DO A HUGE BUMBLEBEE ON EACH SIDE AND SCARE AWAY ALL THE KIDS AND OLD PEOPLE!12!1!11

...ok bye...time to get back to work. Anyway I just thought that 370z had a nice look to it.

i am not a fan of any big wing..yes i have been in the sbc threads and those wings are much worse for the most part so i give u that..I just think ur car would be cleaner with a smaller more flush wing and i just really dont like any type of aluminum wing or that style..too reminding of a kid in a honda or something...as far as graphics go i do not like any graphics does not matter what the design is i think they are all gay..good thing is u can take it off but i would never do it.. might as well put a dick on the side cause thats what u would look like driving down the street...for car show car only ok i see the point but not for a car that ever gets driven on the street no matter how seldom imo..and yes its my opinion so u have ur own go for it

vinyl and those wings look nice on RACE CARS at the speed tracks.. on the street it's a FAIL;just my opinion

BTW, your car looks really nice the way it is... don't turn your car into those weird looking Z's made for "show" with awful decals/paint schemes and neons..

Your car would look sick w/ a custom vinyl job - something simple that doesnt detract from the lines you have going....

Your car is nice as it is. If it were mine i'd go stock rear led tails and smoke out the headlights.. Only way i'd wrap is if i was changing the entire color of the car.

I don't know anything about Vinyls, but it's possible that while it doesn't damage the paint, that it does leave "lines" where the sun beat on the paint more on the areas without a vinyl. Like I said, I dunno...but it is possible and I would look into/ask that of people who know more about them.

do what you like
i personally like a good vinyl design. i like that 370z a lot.
its not for everybody and you'll never please everybody so you can only do it for you.
with the vinyl, when you remove it you might have different tones (sun fade) on parts that weren't covered by vinyl and also with cleaning you'll have scratches or swirls on parts not protected by the vinyl. but this depends on how you care for the car and how much sun it gets. more noticable on darker cars but noticed on both white, black and other colors inbetween I have had.
i'm not a big fan of huge wings either but its your car and you like it so f@#%what I think.
think you should put the money in power mods. unless you are maxed out in that area then do the vinyl.
