Default hood out of line for no reason??

hey guys, I was wondering if anyone has ever had this problem. I went to open up my hood to show off some stuff to friends and "pop"......the very top corners of my hood is way off alignment and is rubbing bad on the corners of the fenders. Mind you this is out of no where and I checked to look for evidence of my hold hinge bolts loose but the paint was still covering the threads....so nothing moved.....

my hood seems like it came down a cpl of millimeters cuz its really close to the headlights and fender corner now.. r u on coilovers? i think its the stiff ride and bumps we hit that caused this

no, no coilovers....my hood actually went up, opposite of what yours did.....idk, hard to believe that bumps would do this though....I mean that sounds like something a daewoo would have a problem with....

i got this problem too but possibly worse, because when you look at it it curves more to the right side.and slightly almost overlaps the side of my left headlight. Sucks for me huh.

do you use the stock hood prop rod or aftermarket hood struts?

stock prop and no aftermarket hood struts.....i did nothing with the hood, fenders, or anything for that matter....the only thing i've done since the last time I had the hood open was change a battery and put some rims on it.....

**update** (just in case anyone runs into this problem in the future) I found the problem to my hood off alignment. A while back I changed my oil, left the oil cap on the engine cover, and slammed the hood on the oil cap damaging the engine cover and putting a slight dent on the hood (not too noticeable). well that was enough to bend the hood hinges. I changed the hood hinges and re-aligned the hood, tightened it down, and that solves it. anyone having hood alignment issues should check into hinges being bent. I couldn't tell if the hinges were bent just by looking at them, so I just took a shot in the dark and changed them anyway.
