you should just check it out at least. Fake or not, if you think its worth 550 after checking it out, you should buy it.

The replica Brides and the real deals have a very few, very small differences that can allow you to tell the difference between the two.

Search "Bride" here, one of the vendors a while back posted a thread about being able to tell the difference.

Yes, the Ebay "Bride" Taiwan's look to be pretty well made, but remember that your seats are a huge part of your safety issues in the car.

IIRC, there is even a seller on Ebay in China saying he has authentic Brides (He makes sure to point out these are not fakes like the other ebayers, in the ad) for like 800 or something a pair.

Be careful.

Safety wise meaning if you are going to use them for hardcore tracking or something. I'm sure these are just fine for daily driver use. Just make sure the sliders and base bolt up properly and you should be good to go.

I've seen those seat in person and it does look decent. However, not the same as authentic brides(I've seen a couple). The fabric and structure of the seat are different.

In terms of safety in a DD, i don't think it'll make a big difference compared to the real deal. I've seen a lot of hondas riding those for years and re-selling them lol and I haven't heard a complain about the seats, but the people that don't like fakes or replicas.....

For the track, I'd definitely say NO! HELL NO!

GL with whatever you decide OP. If you get them, let us know your experience.

They look good and I'd consider them, but I hate to lose the side airbags. Plus, the front airbag sensors in the OE seats have to be tricked. IMO, style is just not worth defeating safety devices.
