I really want to do this, but the FL heat (adhesive not working) and no suitable material is keeping me from the project

I used the 3M 90 spray adhesive and it's held up to several 95+ degree days with the windows up, I know down there in FL you have both heat and humidity working against you.

I've heard that if you pull the headliner at home, its cheap to have a shop wrap it (maybe a couple hundred bucks). They'll have much better adhesives than what us average joes can get.

Has anyone done this in any other colors? I'm thinking about getting a bunch of different microfiber blues and wrapping it in whichever blue matched my car the best.

I love projects like this that you can do on a Saturday mornings and be done in time for the shore. Nice job and write up!

I did my pillars and door inserts last night with the stuff from hancock..when you wrapped ur liner, did you start at the front and work to the back or vise versa?

On my headliner, I basically did the center third first (the width of the sunglass holder). Then worked out to each side. I preferred to work the front before working the back just to get the hard curves done first.

IIRC, someone in this thread tried it and said it felt and looked nothing like suede.

I would love to see your hydro e brake installed! in for pics.

OkashiZ, nice but one mistake i see not for the headliner but the shifter plate, is the carbon fiber weave DOES NOT match up correctly on the driver side judging from that picture.

Don't need you to notice mistakes bud, when and if i poet my cf wrap in the appropriate forum then please feel free. but just so you don't lose sleep over it ma'am, it doesn't look like it lines up because it doesn't. i had to use several pieces to get it smooth and wrinkle free. It is not my final, it's just good enough for me at the moment until i can get more material.
