Have been wanting to do this for a while now. Didn't know what to do about the visors, but it seems the spray paint worked well. Good job

Why are you doing projects like this on a car you plan to trade in in the near future?

because I get bored of the Z. Little things here and there makes the time fly since I won't be able to trade it till next year.

I'll be doing the nardi/momo ebrake mod as well. So yeah.. I say in 12months my mods will pay for itself lol

I'd love to give this a shot... How difficult is it to remove the headliner? Do I need to remove the pillars completely in order to get the headliner off? I have a sparco harness bar and it's a pain in the *** to get that off and on just to get the headliner off. Looks great guys.

ok serious question here, how is this holding up versus heat? please state which glue you have used and if its unsticking or still holing up there strong? i know some people had troublw with cf material unsticking with summer heat so people started using the 3m 80.
please post your field findings and research

pretty sure you just need to remove A-pillars and peel off the weather stripping around the door. Even if the liner is held up by the panel that has the harness bar attached, all you may need to do is try to peal the panel back slightly to get the liner out and not have to completely remove that panel. But I'm not 100% sure

I used 3M Super 77. There is only one small spot that is sagging a little. If I brush it, it will stick for another couple days. I might respray that area with Super 90 but the rest of the material is holding perfectly.

The first couple times I removed the headliner, I just pulled the A and B pillar covers out about 2 inches (enough to loosen the top snaps) and the headliner came out fine. In my instance, though, it was easier to just remove the pieces all together.

The hardest part for me when I attempted to remove my headliner was getting the visors off. For some reason the screws that support the visors were a PITA to break loose.

so i went looking for some suede, and it was 22 a yard, it looked great, but the fabric wasnt really giving, so then i tried the 12 dollar "stuff" and it was to fake, but it wasnt giving either, i would really prefer to physically look at the fabric, and feel it instead of ordering it online and be surprised when i get it in the mail, so.... out of all these fabrics everybody has been using, which is the best fabric to use, whats it calld and where do i order it from, unless everyone thinks the real suede will work, cuz then ill just use that... but like i said, it doesnt give, gimme your opinions everybody

No one knows the most preferable suede. The best one to get would be a suede that is somewhat stretchable. We have yet to discover that type of suede, real or fake. You should do the headliner in the CF fabric. It is very stretchable and easy to work with, compared to suede

all i have to say is make sure you spray evenly and make sure you spray every area! lol.. i have a little bit of bubbles in areas i didn't spray much. i used the 90 spray since the 77 spray didn't hold. well see my bubbles check out the picture

as for taking out the headliner.. the most hardest part for me is the rear plastic pieces. since they all lock with one another.. so i took off all the rear plastic pieces and wrapped those in cf fabric as well since it was out

looks nice though, did the suede come off without problems? I might pull mine down to respray with 90 to replace the 70 I used first go round.
