Still no response to the request of the Jap documents...
I forwarded the same email just incase they forgot
Just wondering... Is anyone else still interested in hearing about the testing done on these seats or am i wasting my break time at work?

I have seen both authentic BRIDE and near identical replicas side by side on the same day. I had the BRIDE BRIX II in my STI and someone at a local meet had a replica. I swear to you can't tell the difference AT ALL. They have it down to the needle per stitch. Logo and etc. The fabric felt pretty similar too.
Now the only difference it might be will be the internal structure of the seats. BRIDE's do test their seats extensively and it will keep its rigidity in an accident or too a point without injuring the driver/passenger. With the replica's that would be my only concern.

if you're not racing or doing anything extreme, i feel like seats are something that are probably OK to have replicas of, as long as they are safe to at least an OEM level.
but of course the OP doesnt think this, as he once said:

I don't think their "ganna" come up with any documents. Just hope you forget about it.

Thanks for posting up the linkage. Wish we could get something from AD but there is a good chance they are only basic testing. Honestly I would not expect major testing for the discounted cost but if there is some testing I think that will put other members at ease.
I am still going to continue my own testing and will post up what I feel the quality is and if I see any signs of premature wear and tear.
Thus far it has done well up to my expectations and wish more members would do simalure testing with uncommon products. I am not testing this seat in any effort to get you to buy AD seats. Simply showing others that sometimes you should try and test instead of looking at the sticker and LOL. Also wanted to provide some feedback on this product as there was nothing I could find.
Thanks for having an open mind everyone and not thinking that I am trying to get people into these.

as for Sparco/Recaro/Bride 'testing' results.. well you can look no further than their FIA certifications.

You should also do some crash testing
Or maybe just take a baseball bat to your seat... How many swings would equal a 100 mph crash? lol
