Still no response to the request of the Jap documents...
I forwarded the same email just incase they forgot

Just wondering... Is anyone else still interested in hearing about the testing done on these seats or am i wasting my break time at work?

I think you're wasting your time........

They're not gonna produce any testing documents.

+1 but I think we would have the same trouble or more trouble getting docs from BRIDE directly. Least it says they are tested but in the end I dont care if they showed me humpty dumpty tested the seats. I am still going to test the hell out of it.

Now the only difference it might be will be the internal structure of the seats. BRIDE's do test their seats extensively and it will keep its rigidity in an accident or too a point without injuring the driver/passenger. With the replica's that would be my only concern.
thats because a lot of times, replicas come out of the same factory! its not hard for companies to source the factories that make brand name stuff
if you're not racing or doing anything extreme, i feel like seats are something that are probably OK to have replicas of, as long as they are safe to at least an OEM level.
but of course the OP doesnt think this, as he once said:

Thus far it has performed well in what I expect from a seat. It holds well in the turns with no signs of wear and tear as of yet.

Think it is just basic testing but also do not think they will release anything to us.

Any company.......any legit company would jump at the chance to show you the rigors that their products are put through and withstand.

I don't think their "ganna" come up with any documents. Just hope you forget about it.

Tried to contact BRIDE directly to see if they would give out anything but it seems BRIDE does not even have a web site nor a way to even ask.

go figure.

The whole reasoning behined the emails is to see if they will or not.

I think i might start trying to get some bride or sparco testing documents to see how much of a challenge that will be compared to aero designs. I will post emails when i begin

I understand.....and I commend you for your effort.

I'm suggesting you aren't "ganna" get any safety info from the fake seat vendor because there is none.

Thanks for posting up the linkage. Wish we could get something from AD but there is a good chance they are only basic testing. Honestly I would not expect major testing for the discounted cost but if there is some testing I think that will put other members at ease.

I am still going to continue my own testing and will post up what I feel the quality is and if I see any signs of premature wear and tear.

Thus far it has done well up to my expectations and wish more members would do simalure testing with uncommon products. I am not testing this seat in any effort to get you to buy AD seats. Simply showing others that sometimes you should try and test instead of looking at the sticker and LOL. Also wanted to provide some feedback on this product as there was nothing I could find.

Thanks for having an open mind everyone and not thinking that I am trying to get people into these.

Tees-usa was just a vendor/distributor that copied and used "bride" from taiwan and others.

Well, that's what I was told when I contacted Bride-jp.

as for Sparco/Recaro/Bride 'testing' results.. well you can look no further than their FIA certifications.

You should also do some crash testing

Or maybe just take a baseball bat to your seat... How many swings would equal a 100 mph crash? lol
