Hey guys, thinking about either getting 5% tint or 13% tint. Can anyone post some pics of your car with either tint so i can compare and contrast. Thanks

I have 13% on the side windows, and 5% on the small side window, and 5% on the rear window. Bottom line, the darker the better. If you can get 5% in your state then do it. I mean, my window tint is illegal for my state (for the side windows), but I went with the 13% b/c I thought it might help somehow...in hindsight, I should have just got 5% all around. I still get pulled over all the time anyway.

Thanks everyone for the input. I think im just gonna get 5% tint. I figured there would be less hassle with cops if i went 13% but it sounds the same either way.

Just do whatever you want. Just roll your windows down if you get pulled over and they won't even notice.

yes they will. I've gotten pulled over twice and both times they asked me to roll my windows up halfway. then they put the stupid measuring thing on the window and then write u a ticket u pay a $40 fine. granted I got pulled over for something else, but since they have you there, they are going to add that on. It's very unlikely they will pull you over only for that tho.

They were just looking for more things to add to your bill

Some cops will pull you over specifically for tint. I know that for sure its good probable cause to check for warrants and suspended/revoked dl's. I have a ppw with 5%, I dont have the ***** for the windshield lol. Ill try to get some pics in the morning. In the town I live in the tickets are $85!

You will have to excuse the pollen. I washed it yesterday this time of year sucks when you want a clean car. Its 5% all around with a 5% strip on the windshield. I will warn you however, visibility sucks at night. Especially when backing. As far as normal driving its not too bad, and better during the day imo.
