I'm looking for some QUALITY bulbs for my license plate. LED.

I've went through 3 sets of cheap *** bulbs in the past 5 months!

is my problem lying with the fact that the bulbs are LED's?

Will this give the same effect as LED as far as brightness and color?

Thanks for your input. Im always paranoid Po-Po is going to use this as an excuse to pull me over. Gotta get some new ones ASAP.

I use the bulbs in the link for my front indicators...they probably aren't as bright as some LEDs, but to me they look brighter than a stock bulb. And yes, they are true white.

Sells Polarg LED lights which have lasted me for a very long time now. Very bright and nice looking. I had PIAA's before, very low lighting and dull so I changed to these.

VLEDS.COM is the tops.. been thru the crap lights too.. and these ( in the 5k color) match lexus perfectly. They are BARELY blue..they are doctors office white led and are classy.

 

I got all mine at the local truck stop, $7 for a pack of 2 and have had them for 3 years now.
