Default Installation of Works Bell Paddle Shift Kit for Aftermarket Steering Wheels

I really need these instructions. We've seen threads for the kit utilizing
the stock wheel, but I need a pdf or scan of the other actual booklet.

I won the setup and hub on ebay, and have a wheel ready to go...

Can someone help? I could incentivize this if necessary.

Thanks ahead. Hope someone steps in!

So basically you're just looking for the install guide correct?

If so, just contact a vendor or Works Bell directly.

^ works bell is non-responsive and vendors could care less (or, like Z1,
are helpful enough to respond, but don't have the manual)...

It should be simpler since you're replacing it with an aftermarket wheel.

I would use the directions below as long as you know how to effectively remove the OEM steering wheel.

https://my350z.com/forum/body-interi...l-on-350z.html

Another option would be PM a few of the people that are in the install threads and see if they have the install directions.

i would assume everything is exactly the same, except you put on a hub and aftermarket steering wheel adapter..

taking off the steering wheel, you must remove the airbag first with the special torx screws and then remove the center bolt for the steering wheel..

Point blank - it's a completely different setup, collar and all...
just want to make sure as some of the components outlined in the
diy are not the same. see photo... might i add that i purchased
this fine setup on ebay for about $170, not bad imo~!

actually was surprised when i saw it. unit is super heavy duty,
awesome actuators and contacts. the collar is way over-engineered.
would really like to anodize everything black.

got a 80's era personal wheel in black to match...

lemme see if i have that article in any of my Z magazine or HyperRev's @ home..

if i do i'll rescan it then we can get a translator... do you have all the wiring pieces that come with it? i think it should be pretty straight fwd.. you have to bypass most of the connectors on the steeringwheel, and of course the SRS airbag resistors...

if you could take like better macro images of the connector pieces you got, you can compare them to the steering wheel images on the service manual.. i.e. connect to the correct pin outs if it really is a plug n play kit.

from that image, looks like the short hub goes in like normal (for a detachable hub), then instead, you attach the paddles and run the connection cables. that little black box looks like the exact same black control box that the other paddle shifter kit had, and goes toward your gear shifter lever (probably to control what is shift up/shift down)

You're the muthafn man Cheston.

That's awesome. Great info and photos! Hopefully the resistor shows up soon
so I can install. Prob one of very few of these kits ever sold (esp. in the US).
