Is anyone running EVO Recaros?
I'm a bigger guy (6'1, 210 lbs) and i hate my stock Z enthusiast seats. In fact, I currently am trying to sell the car because i hate them so much. The bolsters cut into my lats on trips longer than 20 minutes and I end up with pain on the sides of my back. The only hope of me keeping this car is to get another type of seats. Is anyone running EVO recaros? They are reasonably priced and comfortable seats.
PS- i had narrow JDM STi Ver 8 seats on my old WRX and never had any comfort issues, even after 2 trips to florida and back.

Look into wide version Corbeau seats. Not sure if the Recaros come in wide, but I think the Corbeaus are cheaper.

I sometimes have this problem on trips to LA, my only resolution is pulling over every 30 mins to take a quick stretch...

I'm 6'4 265 and have a similar problem. I have yet to find after market seats that are more comfortable than the stock seats, for me anyways.

Same height and weight as the OP and this is the best mod I made to my Zed..
They are Recaro Sports out of a Honda Civic with the leg extensions and are on bride subframes.
Used to get sore back / sore back of the tops of my legs but no more... 5 hour drive and get out feeling fine!

Straight on. They do sit slightly higher but as I say I am 6'1 and there is still loads of head room.

I think Cheston has Recaro EVOs. I might be wrong but I am way too lazy to check right now.

these seats are very popular in the WRX and supra community, i can't believe no one here is running them....are they too wide to fit in the car?
