Question Sidemarkers for Redline - smoked or clear?

I'm gunning for a red and black theme on the outside (CF hood, GM Rims) and I'm trying to figure out what would look better with this setup... I'm thinking the smoked. Thanks in advance.

I came in here ready to say clear, but if your going for red and black theme, definitly go smoked.

both look good on the redline tho.

Screw you and your red/black idea... its mine... ok so its not really original, but oh well

I have thought abt this too, and I am waiting to get my front/rear markers smoked until I get GM or black rims, as it would look odd with the stockers... post pics when you decide...

Thanks for the replies guys.

Bat, I look forward to seeing what tricks you've got up your sleeve

wren57, hopefully if I can muster up the money to buy a nice digital camera I can post pics. This dream setup is kind of a long ways off at this point . You really think smoked markers would look odd on a stock Redline? I think the stock amber kinda throws off everything IMO.

I'd say with stock everything else... yes. I've seen a pic of a stock redline w/ just smoked markers, didn't look too good... throw on some tint, smoke the rear markers and dark rims and it'd all tie in together, but it would look way too pieced together as the only mod...

i agree. but you can just paint your stock orange ones black, instead of buying the smoked ones that tend to look dark orange.

KrazY-2K, why not get a set of Evo-R's Concept Front LED (based from the 350Z Concept car). My Z also have the Red and Black theme (red and carbon fiber). I'll post some pictures of my car with the front LED tomorrow after the weather gets better here in NY. But below are some pictures of the front LED. You can also read more about it in the thread below;

PS. They will be available within 1 month or so, and price is $169 a pair. They are available in Amber (orange), blue, and white color LED.

p.s. i smoked them using tint spray from a local car shop...overall i'd say the smoked lenses look a little too orange, and the gunmetal's a little too grey, but it still looks good imo...

Those sidemarkers look great in the dark. Those pics make me appreciate the red/black theme even more
