evos 2 and 3 have slightly wider shoulder bolsters than the regular evo.
it will fit, however, it will slightly hit the door panel depending on seat rail height.

some options are you can either:
1. take off the cloth cover of the seat, and shave down to fit
or
2. deal with it.. the panel is soft and will indent..

i have super low seat rails (seat is basically on the floor) and the top portion of my evo 2 hits the panel.. i'm ok with it.. however i remember i had the stock wedge seat rails and slider and the seat was so high it actually cleared the door panel, but i couldn't sit in the car w/ a helmet w/o hitting the ceiling.

there are ways to work around it, and hope this does not discourage you from the Evo seat.. its a great seat, super comfortable... and you can run your stock seatbelts through the lap harness holes.

Mike why don't you just weld a custom seat base. It's fairly simple, if you want we can produce one for you which will sit lower than what sparco has.

Cheb- that sounds like a great idea, but i dont wan to sit so low that i cant see over the dash lol. shaving the panel sounds like it can work but seems like so much work to do. i dont know what base or slider im going to go with so lets see. how tall are you btw? im 5'10.

Arin-that sounds like a cheap easy way to do it lol just get some side mounts and weld it to oem. BUT regarding to what Cheb said... will i sit too tall and hit the ceiling.

lower the better.. seriously.. i'm 5'8" and even with my seat on the floor and i see fine.

the off the shelf wedge base with sliders and you will sit higher than OEM seats... with a helmet and a slightly upright position, and you're be touching the ceiling... no bueno.

No you don't use your stock base mount, we will make you custom base mounts which will drop you down a bit lower and out of the way so you don't have fitment issues with the seat & interior panels.
