Default Front Lip

Hey guys, I've been looking for front lips on Ebay and the prices vary from $80-300 including shipping. I was wondering if the $300 is much better than the $80 or what exactly the difference is.

Here's one that I was looking at getting:

Thanks!

I would personally stay away from Ebay. Next thing you know you have a cheap lip that will costs at least twice as much to prep and paint to properly fit your car. Just PM on of the vendors on this site for the best price.

Honestly, for something that might have potential fitment issues, just get it from someone local... That way, if there are any issues, you can have someone to take it back to... That or buy a used one that was already fitted on a car before so you know that there won't be any issues...

that or buy authenthic and throw your worries out the window...

I would be concerned of the fitment issues from eBay items.

Pick one up local or search in the marketplace. You can also post in the Wanted section.

Alright I asked a bunch of the dealers about the prices. How would I find a body shop that could paint the part for me? Does the Nissan dealership do paint?

Thanks

+1 on not buying the front lip from ebay. save some cash and get good quality parts from a vendor w/ a good reputation

get on the regional/florida forums and ask the guys there about a good body shop in your area

hee hee hee. i have ebay polyurethane lips for 80 bucks, and its fitment/quality is not bad at all. the only problem with ebay is that you never know what you are going to get. you might be fine, (like me) or you might end up getting one that has no idea where it's suppose to fit. it's chance you're going to have to take when you order stuff from ebay. risk it for cheap, or buy it expensive for guaranteed fitment. that's all up to you.

yea, except they're out of business in the US. Good luck ordering from Japan. That's the one I want, so I'm waiting for another US company to pick it up, or a really good knock off.

idk imo those cheaper ebay lips are not as bad as it was back in the day. they do actually fit really well now. ive heard alot of positive feed back from those cheaper ebay lips. my bro jus bought an m tech one on ebay for his 335 and it fit nice and tight. was only $150 shipped to hawaii. that was a freakin deal. so ima say go for it esp if the lips is jus a simple design more than likely itll fit well. and imo if it doesnt fit ur not out by much or jus return it. shipping is cheap enough for u mainland guys to ship stuff back and forth without it costing a fortune. its easy to say to stay away from ebay but the lips those sellers are providing have gotten alot better.
