I HIGHLY recommend re clearing the CF hood. im going to do mine when i paint my engine cover silver to match the car. i love my vented hood and alignment and swap is easy on the DE. the HR's have less movement in the hinges due to bigger bolts.

I went with OEM style Seibon hoods for both my 350 and G37, and the Kenstyle CF trunk for the G....got them all wetsanded and re-cleared with quality stuff that won't yellow. Now waiting to paint the G's roof black...the Z's is already black (LMS)

^Are you able to post pics of both the cars? Eventually I wanna get the cf trunk as well, not sure about whether to paint the roof black or cf wrap it tho.

Is getting the hood wetsanded and recleared important? i was thinking of getting it installed just the way it comes. How much would i be looking at for wetsanding and re-clearing?

Thanks

Should be no more than like 150 including paint materials. if you wanna keep it shiny for a long time and your car isnt in a garage/car tarp then u need to get it re cleared.
