Default Hid kit issue

Just got my 6k kit installed today and noticed tonight that my light patterns seem to be scattered/blotchy? My hot spots measured around 21inches on the left and 19inches on the right wise. Is this too low and could my headlights be pointing so low be the cause of the problem? Looking to get a clean cut off line.

what model year is your car? The semi reflector - projector enclosures off the 03-05 are a very poor choice for HID. They are however decent halogen h7 headlamps.

After trying hid retrofits in the 350z, I decided to return to halogens. I run Osram h7 rallye 65w bulbs. They use a larger heavy duty coil from a oem h9 bulb. The beam patter is fantastic! None of the cheap blue tint. It's a pure performance.

You could try re-aiming your lights following various google search tutorials. But i reckon it will leave you wanting something more oem like.

Undertake a expensive projector retrofit, purchase 06' headlights, or use Osram.

Unfortunately yes. Ill post pics of what a proper 03-05 halogen beam should look like. It'll blow you away how much superior it is from a rubbish hid kit.

Can I just switch out my projector/lens with an 06+ to get a normal cutoff/no glare?
