True full aluminum dash is coming soon
Yup we've been playing. We are working on an aluminum dash, or at least our capability to produce it. Below is a picture of a storage lid we have done. One half is left untouched and the other side has a clear coat on it. Obviously the clear suks. But since it is real aluminum it can be marred and needs a certain amount of care.
It is 95% real metal we apply to the dash itself. After curing it must be worked. Sanded, sanded, and sanded some more and finally just scuffed for a brush look.

SO...are these replacement pieces?
Also, is there a way to have the new look go all that way back on the center console (towards engine) instead of just stoppinig at the "face joint?"

In the pic you can see exactly what I mean. Your parts are replacement, which is awesome, but they only replace the facade of the center console. The sides of it are still the gray splastic of the stock interior. These may be hard/expensive to replace, but perhaps you could fabricate thin, stick-on peices for the sides just to complete the look. If you did this I would be on board 100%.

I believe Brad4rdHay is actually referring to the medial walls of the driver and passenger footwells. In your dash pic above, look just to the left of the "warning" label. You'll notice that area is still stock, grey plastic. Brad4rdHay is suggesting that you make a thin attachment piece to cover that entire area in the leg/footwell. It would therefore seem as if the entire console was made out of one big chunk of aluminum.
On a side note, how much of a weight difference do you expect over stock parts?

The weight would be negligible. It is a very thin layer of aluminum. About credit card thickness.
