Exclamation PPW with black front?

I currently have the stock bumper, and am thinking about painting the plastic grille and the part of the bumper directly below the grille to be black.

Much like this attached photo, except that I won't have a lip kit.

I also will have the smoked / back reflector, along with black headlights.

Can someone please post pics of PPW Z with simiar colour scheme / setup? Just want to get a visual before pulling the trigger.

I think it can be pulled off if your rim color is somewhat like the picture. I don't think it will look too good if your rims are gold. That's because I don't think it will flow with the car properly unless you have more black tone on your car.

My rims are stock GT silver ones.

I actually own a sign company, and have plenty of vinyl ready at hand to use. Problem is, I want the grille and the bottom of the bumper to be an identical black. While the bottom part is ready to wrap in black or even CF, the grille itself is a pain to work with-----too many bends / intricate corners.

Hence I am thinking of painting the whole damn thing.

IMO carbon fiber looks pretty good with the stock grille (assuming 06-08 front bumper). I would wrap the lower center portion in CF and call it a day.

Yeah that's the idea, except that I won't have a lip, so the black will sink all the way to the ground

Thanks guys for the input. I am debating between this stock "mod", and Shine Auto V2 bumper.
