ive done some searching and nothing was really clear. im looking to buy a stillen license plate bracket. i just need to know the size of my tow hook. i have a 2006. the tow hook says 16 on it but im not sure if thats the size. how do i measure this thing. is its a 16mm ,22mm, or 24mm.

As I recall from threads on this forum, there are two sizes for different years. A little searching should tell you what they are. I know I've seen the two sizes spelled out.

Early cars are 16mm, 05.5 and up are 22mm. You still need the thread pitch, though, but that's easier to determine.
