About six months ago my girlfriend bought this car totally intended for daily driving and she picked it up from a friend at a steal. The night she bought it I was up till who knows when reading this section of this forum first page to last. I love tinkering on cars and have a few toys and naturally I couldn't leave this car alone.
The only thing that was done to this car was a CAI, the scoop on the front bumper, which is going to be replaced this summer with an 06+ bumper, and the exhaust. Everything else was bone stock all the way down to the silver 17s.
Everything on the car was done in my garage with my two hands, by myself...I'm emphasizing this because most of you guys were detailed in your how-to's and writeup's, and to that I say thank you.

These are pics that were taken by a photographer friend and he does amazing work. All the vehicles in the pics are mine and the Busa is for sale

At the end of this month, I'm pulling all the lights front and rear, I'm going to black out the headlight housings and smoke and flat clear the taillight lenses. It will then be done.

Also forgot to mention its an 03 with 103K miles on it

 

good catch on the car! you might want to consider 06+ headlights, and then blacking them out.

yeah great job man... its tuff to do sublte and cheap thngs and have it still flow etc.

I thought the same thing.. headlights ( even your stock 03-05 versions) blacked out will make a huge diff.. and props on the single exh and bumper tuck, and the stock wheel black out w the pinstripe... drop that car and its done dude... wish my girl woud get off her duff and hook up the new GS300 we roll. Car could be major.. lip kit, drop, and some BBS type mesh wheels.
Anyways, nice job.. i expected to see something bad... pleasant surprise.

 

It looks like that's a greddy tic single exhaust. The car looks nice, props to you got reading the section that most new members disregard. Pics of gf?

Oh, believe me, I've totally considered it, however, the cost to swap them is too much for me to justify...If I could swap them with a car at work I would, but I would get fired, then bye bye toys...we're not keeping for much longer anyway, she is wanting a 4dr something next year.

Thanks dude, I wanted to get the headlights done for the shoot, but just didn't have time. I spent the week before getting the brakes done, which you cant see in the pics, they're slotted drilled rotors, calipers are painted flat black and the baskets the calipers sit in are the same color as the car. As far lowering the car, its out of the question. Her works parking lot entrance is so bad, she tore the flex joint on the exhaust and it has a slight leak, fixing to order a Megan midpipe.

Yessir, its an 04 LE with 06 LE body work, it comes with all the original 04 body work, It has 16t front sprocket and a 43t rear. Full Yoshi YRS Carbon exhaust, bone stock performance wise other than that. Over 360 LEDs, custom built headlight, that I built. Guage backlighting has been changed to white form amber. a ton of little customized things on the bike. New tires that have been custom painted(see photos), fresh fluids front to back, never wrecked and is jsut as clean as the day it was new. 14,9xx miles
