How many miles do you have on your car? OEM is closest to daylight and usually pretty bright. Unless your headlights are misaligned (aimed down or elsewhere) or the bulbs are near it's life span, going to 6k bulbs or higher just makes them more blue. 3k is more yellow. Maybe a retrofit out there that outputs more light?

stock is the easiest on your eye and puts out the highest visibility. by going to a higher k hid bulb you will only be changing the color of the light. it can be bright white, blue, or purple, or like stated above, yellow if you go to a lower k. There was a lot of research done to make our headlight output as effective and comfortable (for our eyes and other's eyes) as possible.

remove your oem 35 watt hid system, and replace it with a 55watt HID kit.

I typically use DDMTuning.com for HID things

Cheap prices and Lifetime Warranties

Make sure not to go with a bulb that is higher than 5000k. Anything above that, you are losing light output

I hear your oem 35watt Philips bulb will do just fine with the 55watt ballast.

Guys on HIDPlanet.com forum actually recommend using philips bulbs over aftermarket bulbs due better light output and cooler temperatures released by the bulbs

You just need to adjust them. There's a thread about it.
The lights are super bright.

OP, any other bulb you buy will maybe LOOK cooler due to a higher "k" number, but will illuminate the road less and less.

The BEST mod is the STI lens. Far more light output. They can be had for 80 dollars on ebay, and you can send them in to be opened up and modded or DIY.
Might as well paint em while youre in there...

start goolging and searching this forum for "STI lens. "
I ahve them, they are bad @ss. FLickers cleanly w the same lens as a ferrari porsche or other hi dollar car..
