CF Hood with Dampers?

So recently i have been looking for a set of Hood Dampers.
My plan is to get a carbon fibre hood and i noticed that tein says not recommended for carbon fibre hoods, now does anyone know why that is?
Also has anyone heard of the brand NR>G Innovations, and if so how good is the brand its self, is it mainstream or just a junk brand.
If anyone could help me out that would be great thanks.

Please search in the future, it's literally the first thread in the search results for "hood dampers"

NRG CF Hood Dampers for CF Hoods, they are not over pressurized. DO NOT get the polished NRG dampers though, they are for OEM hoods and are too strong for CF. Tein Dampers, also too strong for CF.

Had my CF dampers installed and they work great. The Aerotech locks are kind of a headache though when closing the hood. The locks have to be lined up perfect and you have to move the hood to line them up. Too bad CF Hoods have such pain in the *** fitments. Crappy iPhone pics, haven't had the time to wash or even mess with the car as I'm getting ready for marriage next weekend.
