Default Aftermarket Seat Covers

I'm looking to add some color to my interior and would like to start with my seats. I've seen orange seats for sale here but I'm not looking for that color. does anyone know of a company you may have experience with that can sell me replacement leathers to cover my seats? All I've really seen are slip on neoprene seat covers and I'm looking for something better than that. thanks in advance

+1billion on leather seats.com

you do NOT want slip ons man.
Labor to swap the leather kits out is fairly cheap.
I paid 160 for the labor on mine.. very very cheap.
They are also the only place that will make the seat back in black for you like the OEM seats have.. makes a big difference.. makes them far less chunky looking.

Or can do cool stuff like a driver bump in each seat.

Special order top grain leather, high leather qty kits etc are available for an extra charge, in very cool colors and matching suede...

sorry i dont have better direct pics, but you get the jist.. the slip on ebay stuff is CRAAAAAAAAP. One guy on here defends it to the death even though its wrinkled up as hell and looks horrible.

Bmcann.
You paid to get the leather swapped?
I saw a thread a while back that it wasn't that hard to get it on yourself.

There were two guys in the thread who purchased from leatherseats.com
The second guy said he got it on really easily using zip ties?

you certainly dont want to use zip ties. IM sure they will appear to work fine for now, but Hog rings are super heavy duty metal fasteners that will stand the test of time.

They will get hot and dry in only a year or twos time and break and your fit will fail, and then you can much more easily blow out seams etc in the seat.

I didnt install mine as Ive done a car before and each seat ( while notably harder to do than out seats) took me almost ten hours. Z32.. nasty seats to work on. BIG TIME.

Turned out cool tho, did leather on the rest of the car, vinyl in some spots, and flat interior paint to match in other areas still.

Also, im a fan of dropping things off before work and picking them up DONE already at lunch. 160 bucks? Done.
They used spray glue on seating areas etc as well.. a real upholstery shop did mine. Steam stretched, etc. My headrest pieces are perfect..
far beyond the DIY quality of installation.

Also to BBS.. a man is only allowed to say the word cinnamon if hes talking to a stripper by that name. haha jk.

No , its much closer to Porsche Terra Cotta.. bout the same color as a flower pot.

When my car was silverstone, it was off the chain. Same color scheme of the Spjker cars etc. Still looks ok w the black tho IMHO.

bmccan101 you need a proper shoot of the leather seats. Those 4 obscure angle pictures are just a tease.

dees is the troof. haha ^^^^

Its like mango.haha! (SNL)

Can joo steal the whisper from de wind? Can u pluck de stars from de sky?
NO! Such is MANGO!
haha.

i hear ya tho man...they just dont photo well, it doesnt catch the brown in them, they just look orange.
Meh.

I redid a ton of the interior anyways, all black suede...suede headliner, sueded dash , and doing the carbon fiber door panels one of these days too. Theyve been sitting in my closet for 2 years now haha. Soon to finish all the interior panels in back in suede too.
Adding some suede to the door and the speaker pods etc. I can imagine they will be quite hot in the summer.. so suede is a must on em for sure.

Point being is that im still a work in progress...but will likely do a sick full photo shoot once the cars out of its build.. hopefully before its 2012. It will be close Im sure.

Ain't that the truth.

To be honest, that's exactly what I want to do with my test pipes.
My friends b*tch about not getting my hands dirty.
Screw that, i'm not working on a slanted drive way made of gravel in Washington rainy cold weather.
