Default Bat's chrome reflector overlay pics

I really wanted to get rid of the orange in the headlight reflectors. I installed the clear corner lenses (the left side is a biatch) but wanted to complete the look. So I ordered Bat's zh2 chrome overlay for the headlight reflector. Nice shipping! Got them 3 days after I sent off the money order!

In the pics the overlay looks slightly off-color. However, this is a camera problem, they look like a good match to the eye. I did trim some off the thin part at the bottom so that the non-chromed plastic edge of the lense was more visible.

Overall, I'm very happy and thanks to Bat for the great service and fast shipping

Can you see the turn signal at all with the overlays?

Sponge-

Look great on DB! Of course perhaps I'm a little biased (see my sig)

I always wanted to give props to Bat, quick shipping and the chrome overlays are great! I too had to do a TINY bit of cutting just to get the shape right at the top (I think I kinda messed up just a bit when putting them on, but no biggie now they look perfect).

I'll be taking some pics pretty soon, just need to get back to my dorm so I can get my digital camera back!

again, your chrome overlays look sweet sponge

Question Parking light?

Can the parking light shine through the chrome film? I'm interested but not sure if "Bat" uses a transparent chrome film or opaque chrome film?

Bat, nice job in any case!

The chrome film is not transparent.

BTW, the Overlay looks good on your ride Todd.

I went about the whole "orange look in the headlight" differently. I just replaced the turn signal bulbs with orange bulbs coated in a silver with a slot in the coating on the underside. It not only remains functional (orange blicker), but it eliminated the orange look . . . not to mention, a lot easier to do

umm... but you still have the amber strip correct?

that's what this overlay is for, not the turn signal

People get confused with the actual turn signal lamp and the lighted reflective strip. You don't want to cover up the turn signal itself.

I heard about the bulbs that come in silver and flash orange. Where can I get a set?

Thx for the props all, I really like the way it looks.

I too, ordered some of those silver coated bulbs off of ebay. Upon trying to install them I found that they fit but were really loose in the socket. I was afraid I'd loose one inside the housing and have to pull the whole thing out. Maybe another brand will be better. I'm still looking for something else.

Sponge: can you do me a HUGE favour and take some pics at night? with the lights on?

Just want to know how it looks with the amber marker light gone... whether it looks like something is missing, or if you can see the amber light underneath creeping out the sides of the overlay or whatever... I imagine you can't, and that it looks sweet, but i can't be sure.............
