Default Cabon fiber hood
Just curious how much does a stock hood weight? How much does carbon fiber hood weight? Any recommendations...

The CF hood is more for looks than weight gains. I don't know the weight of both hoods, but do know that carbon fiber is only going to save you 2-3 pounds.

If my memory serves my right, I read somewhere stock hood weighs 26lbs.

I had a carbon fiber hood on my civic si, its weight was 15lbs, the stock hood weighed 30+....

a cf hood on a z is only bout 3 lbs lighter than the stock hood, the stock z hood is aluminum so it is already pretty light

The overlayed carbon fiber hoods only save 2-3lbs.

The dry carbon hoods from Amuse save over 10lbs.

MATIX ^ can get these I believe.

gold adds too much weight.
