Default Bumper Repair or Replace - Opinions Needed

Well, ran into a parking block.

bumper is a shine V2

Its cracked at the lip about an inch into the bumper, chunks of paint missing and spider cracks formed above it

There is also damage underneath it theres also a good chunk missing underneath the other side as well ( other recent incident)

Do i fix and repaint?

The thought of bondo makes me want to punch babies

Do i replace with same bumper?

Do i replace with different style bumper?

I really like the amuse replicas but i would like them to fit as well as possible (keeping body shop costs down) im also open to other bumper styles as well

This wont take place immediately, but id like to have a few suggestions and ideas for when the time does come

Thanks ahead of time

Just fix your bumper if you like the look, it's the easiest option.

Fixing the bumper would be the cheapest and fastest route. It all depends if you wanna stay with this bumper or switch things up

i had somehow a similar situation

i used to have the buddy club 2 front bumper (long nose) then i decided to replace it with amuse. apart from the poor quality of the CF Splitter and the gap between the splitter and bumper, it made my front end looks shorter (for my taste at least) also there were too much going on at the front end (front bumper opening, Aerocatch Hood lockers, hood vents, and blacked out headlights), so i decided to replace it with V2, simple, classy, yet aggressive. and the Z looks better than ever.

+1

That little blemish is something you could fix and have resprayed for less than the cost of the new bumper.

I kinda like the "idea car" bumper. It appears to be a Euro MODEL Z.
The Z has some parts I've not seen:Hood piece, side fender "vents".
Where did you get this pic?Any info on this car?

Damn it is a lot more jacked up than I thought.

You wouldn't even have posted if you didn't want to change it up. Now is a good excuse to do so. I say do it.

Took it to a few places today and the general consensus was to replace the bumper. Labor charges for 4 hours of work was about 400 dollars. So a new bumper is now the only choice.

I did have a chat with Ben from Baus Auto and i really like the idea of having a poly bumper. Unfortunately the Amuse style is not available. Thus i am going to pick thier poly V2 pending fitment pictures. i went ahead and rattle canned the lower portion of my current V2 in black so its a bit less noticeable.
