Default 03-05 with 06 Headlights (Blinker Light Modification)

So does anyone know how to fix the fact that when you put on 06 headlights on an 03-05 why the amber blinker stays on when the headlights are on?

Noticed it on my 03 and it's the same on my 05. Thanks.

03-05 turn has 2 wires, 06 and up has three, not sure which, but cut and terminate ( seal one.

You can test w a volt meter which is the one thats on all the time. Some ppl say just to bend a pin back in a harness, not sure where thats at tho or what thats about.

wire thing woirks fine tho

There are plenty of threads on this if you search.

This is one of the most comprehensive that I found by doing a search right now:

This is new to me. I thought it was a "plug-n-play" as well.

It definitely has been covered plenty of times.

I recently just did it on my '03 with 06+ headlights. The blue wire is the one you have to cut off the signal to, but I didn't cut any wires. I just looked inside the headlight bulb socket and looked to see where the blue wire was connected inside the socket. I then placed a small piece of electrical tape on the corresponding bulb prong that would make contact with the blue wire inside the socket. I did this only if for some reason I had to replace the headlights in the future, and maybe someone else could use it on an 06+ model.

Pretty simple, if you don't want them on all the time.

just cut the blue wire and tape the ends. if the time come to sell then just solder the blue wire back together. SIMPLE!

I didn't even know there was something wrong I thought it was normal haha. Oh well, seems kind of tedious work that I don't really have the urge to do.
